Step 1. Connect your iPhone to your Macbook using your Lightning to USB cable.
When connecting the phone to the computer, the Photos and iTunes are automatically launched. You can close those apps and continue the process.
Step 2. Open Quicktime on your Macbook. If you cannot find the QuickTime icon, use the Finder feature in either location.
