The Bedtime mode is one of the features of your Galaxy that aims to help your digital well-being. It is essentially an ‘upgraded’ version of the Do Not Disturb mode that mutes all alerts and notifications so you may sleep peacefully.
If you enable the Samsung bedtime mode, the screen will become grayscale and all calls, notifications, and other sounds will be muted for the duration of your sleep.

How to Setup Bedtime Mode on Samsung One UI 5.0 (Android 13)
Meanwhile, in the previous One UI versions, you could find this feature on Digital Wellbeing and parental controls menu. However, with the One UI 5.0, this feature is shifted to Modes and Routines.
1. Go to the Settings app.
2. Tap Modes and Routines.
3. Navigate to the Modes tab and select Sleep.
4. Tap Start.
5. Set the sleep and wake-up times and select the days.
6. You can also enable a Wake-up alarm. Set the Alarm sound, Vibration, and Snooze as per your wish. Once you’re done with the settings, tap Next.
7. In this screen, you can turn on or off the Do not disturb mode, mute calls/messages, and app notifications. Tap Next.
8. Choose the settings you want to apply in sleep or bedtime mode. You can turn on or off the Greyscale, Dark mode, Eye comfort shield, Sound mode, and volume and Power saving. Make the changes and tap Done.
How to Turn On or Off Sleep Mode on Android 13
When activated, the Samsung Bedtime mode feature grayscales the screen. It mutes notifications and some sounds, allowing you to use your Galaxy phone or tablet while sleeping without worrying about elements that interfere with your sleep. You may also program your optimum sleeping and waking hours.
Once you’ve set up the sleep mode on your Galaxy phone, enabling and disabling it is easy.
Turn On Bedtime Mode:
- Go to Settings > Modes and Routines.
- On the Modes tab, Select Sleep.
- Tap Turn on.
Turn Off Bedtime Mode:
- Go to Settings > Modes and Routines.
- On the Modes tab, Select Sleep.
- Tap Turn off.
