Step 1. Tap on the Settings.
Step 2. Tap on General and then tap on Restrictions.
Step 3. Tap on Enable Restrictions. Enter a Restriction passcode, then re-enter it again.

Step 5. You will see a list of apps which is allowed to show on screen, and then switch OFF those you want to hide.
Hide third-party apps on iPhone or iPad with Restrictions (iOS 11 or older)
Downloaded apps or third-party app (which you install from the App Store) can be hidden based on their age-restrictions or completely hide all of them.
Step 1. Go to Settings, tap on General.
Step 2. Tap on Restrictions.
Step 3. Enter your iPhone/iPad restrictions passcode if prompted.
Step 4. Scroll down to Allowed Content and tap on Apps.
Step 5. Now, you can either choose which type of apps to allow (tap on the particular age group) or just tap Don’t Allow Apps to hide all the apps.
Hide Apps on iPhone or with Screen Time (iOS 12)
There have been little changes on iPhone or iPad running iOS 12, Apple introduced a new feature named the “Screen Time” for iOS users to personalize their limit of screen time using, and the Restrictions feature. Therefore if you have updated your iPhone or iPad to iOS 12, you can hide apps on your iPhone and iPad very easily.
Step 1. Open Settings.
Step 2. Tap on Screen Time.
Step 3. Here You can set the restrictions by customizing Downtime, App limits and also hide some useful apps as well.
Step 4. Turn on the Content & Privacy Restrictions.

Note: Using Screen Time is one the best way to hide apps on your iPhone and iPad. Because there is no need to turn off Siri, if even you search the hidden apps in the spotlight or Siri, you can’t find it.
Hide Apps in a folder on your Home Screen (iPhone 5s, 6, 7, 8, X)
The easiest method to hide apps is in a folder on page 2 or 3 of your Home screen. This trick almost works on every iPhone like 5s, 6, 7, 8 and even X and XR.
Step 1. Tap and hold the app you want to hide until it starts to wiggle.
Step 2. Then move it over another app you want to hide to create a folder. Or move it to a previously created folder.
Step 3. Fill the folder with apps you want to hide. tap and hold the entire folder and move it to the last page of your Home screen.
Step 4. If you do not want people to see the apps at all, fill the folder with more apps, so that the hidden apps move to page 2 of the folder.
How to Hide Apps from iPhone Search
Even if you hide apps deep in a folder on your iPhone, someone who is familiar with the iOS system and interface will definitely find the hidden apps through the spotlight or using Siri. That’s why it’s good to know and important to hide apps from iPhone Search as well.
Step 1. Open Settings.
Step 2. Tap on Siri & Search.
Step 3. Select the app you want to hide.
Step 4. Swipe left to toggle off Siri & Suggestions and
