Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 are the latest foldable phone from Samsung. Meanwhile, one of the main features is the “Flex Mode.” So, in this post, we’ll show you how to enable and use Flex Mode on Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.
In the meantime, the coolest things about the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 phones are that you can do lots of things at the same time on one device.
An exclusive thing called One UI 5.1.1 Flex Mode makes these phones special. It’s like the star feature of the new Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 phones. When you fold or flip the phones, this feature makes the apps move around so you can use them at the top and bottom of the screen. You can even put the phones at a slanted angle between 75° and 115° to make them more comfy.
What is Flex Mode?
Flex Mode lets you see your screen from various viewpoints. Remarkably, the device’s sturdy build allows you to fold and unfold it countless times, so you don’t need to be concerned about how often you tilt or bend your smartphone.
You can easily watch stuff without holding the phone, like having your own little stand. Flex Mode makes the top screen show things, and you can control stuff on the bottom screen. The phone can stand on its own at angles from 75 to 115 degrees, so you can enjoy using it for work or fun. Plus, you can take cool hands-free pictures without needing a tripod. Just capture moments on the go
How to Manually Enable Flex Mode on Galaxy Z Flip 5
Using Flex Mode on the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is really easy – just fold the screen halfway and it turns on. But remember, make sure the screen lock is off. Just know that Flex Mode only works on certain Samsung foldable devices, so not all apps are set up for it right away. Some apps might work better than others.
But here’s a trick: if the app you’re using doesn’t work with Flex Mode, you can make it work. Fold your phone halfway and tap the thing that pops up at the bottom to turn on Flex Mode. Then, you get some extra stuff you can use.
When you look at the bottom left, you’ll spot an icon that seems like a phone folded in half. When you tap that icon, Flex Mode kicks in, and you’ll see the stuff at the bottom in the next two pictures. If you’re listening to music, you can skip through the song that’s playing, and there are other buttons that do cool things too.
How to Automatically Open an App in Flex Mode
1. Go to the Settings app.
2. Tap Advanced features.
3. Tap Labs > Flex mode panel.
4. Turn on the Flex mode panel option.
5. After that select Apps to show Flex mode panel automatically.
6. Now, choose any app that you would like to open automatically in Flex mode.
