2. Download VMware Unlocker
3. Download macOS Mojave ISO File 

Note: Make sure that Virtualization Technology is enabled on your Windows 11 PC or laptop. 

So, without wasting any more time, here are the steps to install macOS Mojave on VMware  in Windows 11:

Step 1. Install VMware Workstation Pro 17

VMware Workstation Pro is a piece of software that helps you to run various operating systems on a single desktop machine without having to install them. It also creates the ideal environment for cloud and platform testing.

VMware has a long history of creating virtualization applications for both students and businesses. • Click on the VMware installer, if prompted, click Yes and select Next.
• Check the box next to I accept the terms in the License Agreement and click Next.
• Click Next and Next on the upcoming screens.
• Finally, click Install and Finish.

Step 2. Unlock VMware to Install macOS on Windows

VMware Unlocker for macOS is a useful tool that replaces a few files, like VMware-vmx, vmwarebase.dll, and vmwarebase. 3. Select I will install the operating system later and click Next.

4. Choose Apple Mac OS X from the operating system list then select macOS 10.14 from the version and click Next.

5. Name the virtual machine such as macOS Mojave. Click Browse to choose a location to save virtual machine files and click Next, or you may let it as default.

6. Specify the disk size and select Store virtual disk as a single file and click Next. 80GB is recommended.

7. On Ready to Create Virtual Machine, Click Customize Hardware.

8. Increase the Memory from 2 GB to 4 GB or higher for better performance.

9. Select the Processors menu then increase the CPU processor core from 2 cores to 4 or Higher cores for better performance.

10. Click the New CD/DVD (SATA) option, click Use ISO image file, and click Browse.

11. Locate the macOS Mojave ISO file and click Open.

12. Finally, click Close to save all the changes that you made to the virtual machine settings.

13. On the New Virtual Machine Wizard Window, Click Finish.

Step 4. Edit macOS Mojave  VMX File

1. Find the location where you’ve saved the macOS Mojave virtual machine. Right-click on a file with the extension of VMX and open it with Notepad.

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the texts and add the following code; then click on File > Save.

Step 5. Power on macOS Mojave Virtual Machine

Launch VMware Workstation, select the macOS Mojave VM, and click Power on this virtual machine.

Wait for macOS to boot up. Here, you will see the Apple logo.

Select your preferred language and click the arrow icon at the bottom.

Now, you’ll see macOS Utilities Window. From the list, select Disk Utility and click Continue at the bottom right-hand corner.

Choose VMware Virtual SATA Hard Drive Media then click Erase.

Choose the following options and again click Erase.

• Name: macOS Mojave
• Format: APFS (If you get an error, select Mac OS X Extended Journaled)
• Scheme: GUID Partition MAP

Click Done.

From Disk Utility Tab, click Quit Disk Utility.

From macOS Utilities, select Install macOS and click Continue.

Click Continue. 

On the next screen, click Agree and once again select Agree.

Select the macOS Mojave hard disk and click Continue.

Wait for macOS Mojave to restart 2/3 times to finish the installation without your interference. Be patient; it will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your system.

Step 6. Setup macOS Mojave for the First Time

1. On the Welcome screen, select your country/region and click Continue.
2. Choose your Country and click on Continue.
3. Choose a Keyboard Layout and click Continue.
4. On the Data & Privacy page, click Continue.
5. Select Don’t transfer any information now and click Continue.
6. On Sign in with your Apple ID page, click Set up Later and click on Skip.
7. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
8. Fill out the Full name,  Account name, Password, and Hint, and click on Continue to create your user account for macOS Mojave 10.14.
9. On the Expres Set Up page, if you don’t want to do something just click Continue.
10. The dark mode feature is added newly to macOS Mojave 10.14 so you can select Light or Dark mode and then click Continue.
11. Finally, macOS Mojave is successfully installed on VMware.
