In this feature, I will show you how to enable or activate one-handed mode on Samsung One UI (Android Pie). Samsung One UI or Android Pie has a built-in feature to enable one-handed mode on Samsung Galaxy smartphones that are running on One UI or Android Pie.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10 Plus, S10+, S9+, S8+, and some other Galaxy devices are huge phones. Using them in normal mode is difficult. However, if you don’t feel comfortable with the size of your phone, then you can enable the one-handed feature on your Samsung One UI.

How to Enable One-handed Mode on Samsung One UI (Android Pie)
The aim of One-handed mode is defined in the name of the function. It is meant to make the UI elements easier to reach while using your Galaxy device with one hand. This is done by reducing the size of the entire UI and moving it to one of the lower corners of the screen. Here’s how to enable the one-handed mode on Samsung One UI:
Step 1. Open the “Settings” app.
Step 2. Tap on “Advanced features.”
Step 3. Tap on “Motions and gestures.”
Step 4. Now, turn on the “One-handed mode” option.
Note: the Button mode is not available if you use the Full-screen gestures navigation bar. It is only available if you’re using the standard navigation bar. To make the Button option available, you’ll have to open Settings, go to Display, tap Navigation bar, and select Navigation buttons.
Step 5. So by now, One-handed mode is enabled on Samsung One UI (Android Pie). To use the one-handed mode, swipe from the bottom corner of your screen to the center of your screen.
Step 6. To adjust the One-handed mode display, tap the arrow icon to move the screen from right to left and vice versa.
Step 7. To disable the one handed-mode on Samsung One UI, tap the Settings icon, then turn off the One-handed mode.
Step 8. To go back to the full screen, tap outside the reduced display area.
The best part about the one-handed mode is it’s always waiting for you to enable but isn’t in your way until you need it. Keep it turned on, and the next time you need to shrink down the display you can swipe in from the bottom corners or press the home button three times. Easy as that!
