The Jabra Elite 65t is still a great set of truly wireless earbuds in 2022. The nicest thing about these earphones right now is their low pricing. These are hard to pass up if you don’t care about having the latest features and simply want a good set of genuine wireless earphones.
The major practical difference between these and the newer Jabra Elite 75t is the longer battery life and stronger connection, but if that’s not a significant problem for you, these are a wonderful value. The Elite 75t and Elite Active 75t have also been upgraded with a new noise-canceling function, which is really impressive since it wasn’t included when they arrived.
While there are superior true wireless solutions available, such as the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, AirPods Pro, and even the Jabra Elite 75t, they are all very expensive. Then there are the Google Pixel Buds, which are also a fantastic alternative for Android users.
2: How does the Jabra Elite 65t sound?
Let’s start with what I enjoy about these earbuds, which is the quality of the microphone. At around the 05:30 minute in the video, listen to how clear my voice is. You can make out every word I say even though I’m talking via the Jabra Elite 65t in a whole separate room and standing about three inches away from my air conditioner, which is on full blast.
Unfortunately, the sound quality does not impress me. The Jabra app has a few EQ options, but I didn’t notice a significant improvement in overall sound quality. So the low-end of Jamie Woon’s song Night Air was underemphasized, and I didn’t get the same bump that I’m used to. This is to be anticipated given the small size of the drivers, but it’s still disappointing given that there are other corded earphones that work just as well.
