How to Turn on RCS Messaging on Google Messages on Android Devices ( Samsung)
in this post, we are showing the process which was done on Samsung devices and this method works perfectly on all Samsung devices. The roll-out is legal in the United Kingdom, France, and the United States. It means you can enable these features as long as you use the official Google Nachrichten app, in those countries it does not matter if your operator or supplier officially supports RCS. So here are the steps, do follow each step carefully then you will be able to turn on/enable RCS messaging on Google Messages on any Android devices. Recently, I enable the RCS feature on my Samsung Galaxy S9+ and it works perfectly.
Step 1. Go to Google Play Store and download the “Messages” app by Google.
Step 2. On the same page that you’ve installed the Messages app. Now scroll down and you see will a section called “Join the beta“. To join the beta tap on “Join“. It takes a few minutes to join then close the Play Store.
Step 3. Now Relaunch the Google Play Store. Type messages then tap on it. Here you’ll see an update option. Tap on “Update“.
Once this process is completed restart your Android phone.
Step 4. Now go to Settings > Apps > Carrier Services. If you don’t have this app. Go to Play Store and download “Carrier Services“. If you have “Carrier Services” tap on it then tap on “Storage” select “Clear data“.
Step 5. Again go to Settings > Apps > Messages. What I mean is find the Messages app by Google then tap on “Storage” and select “Clear data“.
Step 6. Go to Play Store and download “Activity Launcher“.
Step 7. Open the “Activity Launcher” app. Scroll down and find the Messages app then tap on it.

Step 8. After tapping on the Messages app, scroll down then tap “Set RCS Flags“.
Step 9. Under the “ACS Url” section, select ‘”http://rcs-acs-prod-us.sandbox google.com/.”
Step 10. Under the “OTP Pattern” section, select the only option available. Which is ‘Your\sMessenger\sverification\scode\sis\sG-(\d{6}).’
Step 11. Click “Apply“.
Step 12. Now go Settings > Apps > Messages then tap on “Force stop“.
Step 13. Now open the Messages app by Google, you’ll see “Messages just got better” or tap the three dots on the top right-hand corner then select “Settings” tap on “Chat features” here you will see Status connected. RCS messaging on Android Samsung
It’ll take a few minutes, but you’ll get all set and ready to talk once it’s done. How can’t use this new feature? Feel free to share it with everyone you know has an Android phone, too. RCS allows you to access the ability to attach large video files, high-quality images and more, with a number of different features, including real-time delivery and receipts, which SMS and MMS never had, including when other people type.
To date, it appears to be working across different versions of Android, different Android phones and various countries. In the U.S., in Canada and various European countries, we tested it.
