Meanwhile, Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 come with One UI 6.1.1 already installed. This version has many new features, especially for the camera and Galaxy AI. These features will also be available for older devices soon.

What New Features are in One UI 6.1.1?

Generative AI features like Portrait Studio, Sketch to Image, and Live Effect are coming to the Galaxy Z Flip and Fold 4/5, Galaxy S22/23/24, Galaxy S23 FE, and Galaxy Tab S8/9.

In the “Editor,” Samsung is adding “Motion Clipper” to turn a Motion Photo into a GIF with a long press, and “Cut” to crop photos with a long press.

For translation, Samsung now supports an overlay for translating text or images. One UI 6.1.1 will also bring Expert RAW support to the Galaxy Z Flip 6, making it the first Flip to have this feature. Expert RAW will improve image quality for brightness, noise, and more.

How to Use Live Effect on Z Fold6 and Z Flip6

Right this feature is only available for Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 and soon this feature will come for other Galaxy smartphones as well.
