Sketch to image (One UI 6.1.1)

Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI technology has achieved a significant milestone. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 introduces an exciting “Sketch to Image” feature, powered by Galaxy AI within One UI 6.1.1. Even better, Galaxy users can utilize this feature with the S Pen to effortlessly create captivating images from basic sketches.

The Sketch to Image functionality seamlessly integrates into select Samsung apps, ensuring convenient access. To use it, simply grab your S Pen, create a straightforward drawing, and let the AI work its magic.

Here’s how it works: Galaxy AI takes the sketch you’ve drawn using the S Pen or by hand and applies artificial intelligence and machine learning. It enhances the sketch by adding graphic elements and colors, resulting in a fully realized image that stays true to the original concept.

But that’s not all! Samsung’s advanced Galaxy AI also offers “Sketch to Search,” encouraging users to explore their artistic abilities. Beyond sketches, it’s expected to work with existing images, allowing you to bring objects to life through simple drawings. Exciting times for creative minds.

How to Use Sketch-to-image on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6

Before you use the AI feature, you must enable the Drawing assist feature, if its not enabled:

• Go to the Settings.
• Tap Galaxy AI.
• Select Drawing assist and then enable it.

1. If you’re using Edge panels, swipe left on the top-right side of the screen to open the Edge panels. Select the Sketch to image icon.

Note: You can also access Sketch to image from the S Pen’s Air command menu.

2. Now, draw something. 

3. Choose a drawing style for the image you want to generate:

• Watercolor
• Illustrations
• Sketch
• Pop art
• 3D cartoon

4. Tap Generate.

5. Swipe to the side to review the generated image options. You can copy or save the generated image from the top menu.

Use Sketch to Image in Samsung Gallery

Open the Samsung Gallery and find a photo that you would like add an object.

After that tap on the photo assist icon.

Select Sketch to image.

Now, here draw something and hit the Generate button.

Swipe left to see the results.
