How to Activate Notify When Left Behind for Galaxy Watch and Buds

In the Samsung SmartThings app, there’s a feature called “Notify Me When Left Behind.” You might see a message saying this feature only works on Galaxy devices with Android 12 or higher.

It’s smart to use the “Notify when left behind” feature in the SmartThings Find app. It sends you a notification if you leave your earbuds or watch somewhere unfamiliar, helping you keep track of them.

How to Enable Notify When Left Behind for Galaxy Watch and Buds

By turning on this feature and setting up safe places, you can make sure you never forget your Galaxy Buds and Watch.

Note: Make sure your Galaxy Buds and Watch is connected to your phone via the Wearable app and also install the SmartThings app if not installed.

Galaxy Buds

• Open the Galaxy Wearable app and then tap Find My Earbuds.

• Tap More.

• Here, turn on the Notify when left behind feature for Galaxy Buds.

You can also add safe places to this feature, like your home. If you leave your Galaxy Buds in any of these places, you won’t get a notification.

For Galaxy Watch

• Open the Galaxy Wearable app and then tap Find My Watch.

• Tap More.

• Here, turn on the Notify when left behind feature for Galaxy Watch.
