Meanwhile, watermarking is available on some mid-range A series Samsung smartphones like A10s, A21, and later devices, but the company has yet to add a similar feature to its flagship lineups like S and Note series. There is, however, a way to apply a watermark to your flagship devices like S9, S10, Note 10, S20, S21 and etc.
How to Enable Watermark for Galaxy A21s, A51 & Others from the Camera Settings
Many smartphones with personalized interfaces have a built-in feature to add a watermark; for example, if you use phones from OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, Honor, Huawei, Samsung, and a few others, you can easily add a watermark to your images when taking them. Others do not have the same service; if your phone supports it, you can get it done quickly and conveniently.
So, if you have a mid-range Galaxy A series, here’s how to enable the watermark feature.
- Open the Camera app.
- Tap the Settings or gear icon at the top left-hand corner.
- Scroll down and then enable the Watermark feature.
- To customize it, tap the Watermark text itself and give a name as per your liking. The default watermark is “Shot with my Galaxy A21s” in my case.
- Now, take a picture and you will see the watermark at the bottom left-hand corner.

Unfortunately, the Watermark feature isn’t available for the S and Note series. if you have S series or a Note series Galaxy phone then you manually add a watermark to your photo by adding stickers with the photo editor app.

The sticker, like every other sticker, can be resized and rotated, and it looks nice because it uses the same font as Samsung uses to advertise its smartphones.
Here’s how to manually add a watermark to photos on the Samsung Galaxy Phone:
- Open the Gallery and locate the photo to that you want to add a watermark. Tap the edit option at the bottom of your image.
- Tap on the Stickers icon.
- At last, select the Samsung Galaxy icon and place it in the corners. Once done, tap Save.
- Here’s how it looks.
What Is a Watermark, and Why Do I Need One?
A watermark is a means of identifying yourself as the creator of your pictures. It also serves as a threat to copyright infringement.
A watermark is usually a tag, stamp, or signature that is superimposed over a photograph. Photographers use watermarks on their images to help people recognize them. They also let people that the image is protected by copyright. A watermark will make it easy for anyone to contact you if they see your picture and wish to buy a license to use it. In addition, if a watermark is deliberately removed, the photographer can be awarded extra penalties in the event of a violation.
Most watermarks are transparent in any way. They are often seen near corners or at the bottom of pictures, where they are less intrusive. You can also change the camera settings and add copyright information to the EXIF files. Some photographers like to apply a watermark to their images in the same way a painter would label their work. Others, on the other hand, want a thin line of text or a logo that is scarcely visible.
This is how you can add a watermark to your photos on Samsung Galaxy devices. Mid-range Galaxy devices have a built-in Watermark feature while this feature isn’t available for the S and Note series. However, you can still add a watermark to the photos using the Photo editor app by adding stickers.
