Galaxy Buds Live
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live is designed to provide a luxurious and straightforward user experience, which they provide. The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live’s initial engagement isn’t with the earphones at all; instead, it’s with the squared-off, plastic charging case. Don’t let the material choice put you off the buds: they have a great shine and semi-matte texture that makes them pleasant to use, especially when contrasted to the Galaxy Buds Live’s glossy veneer. There are no buttons on the case or in the earphones, only two LEDs to indicate the case and earphones’ battery levels.
The jewelry box-inspired charging case includes a lip on either half that makes it simple to open with one or both hands. The Mystic Bronze color variety has a more reflecting surface, although the Mystic Black, Mystic White, and Mystic Red color variants have the same glossy surface. I felt like I’d just unboxed a set of earrings or a ring box when I first opened the earphones.
The earphones are held in place by magnets, allowing me to be less accurate while placing them into their cutouts. I did have to push the earphones up occasionally for the contacts to meet the pin connections for charging.
