How to Edit Facebook Messenger Sent Messages

Editing a message on Facebook Messenger is a breeze! Just tap and hold on the message you want to edit, and then hit the conveniently labeled “Edit” button. You’ll then get the chance to make any changes you need. Once you’re done, simply tap the checkmark to save your edits, and the updated message will be on its way to your recipient.

1. Open the Messenger app.

2. Find any sent message that you would like to edit. Tap and hold on that particular message, and then tap on the 3 dots More button.
