It’s crucial to turn off contact recommendations on your Samsung device to reduce these hazards. By doing this, you reclaim control over who sees your images and lessen the possibility that your personal information may be compromised.

How to Hide Contacts Suggestions on Samsung Galaxy or Remove Contacts from Share Sheet

It can be unexpected to see a list of your friends or family members appear while you’re merely attempting to share images, depending on what you’re trying to do. Fortunately, beginning with Android 11, it’s now simple to remove the list of contacts suggestions from the Share sheet entirely.

Note: The screenshots are taken on Samsung One UI 5.1 based on Android 13 and the steps are the same for Android 11 and Android 12 Samsung.

Step 1. Open the Settings app on your Galaxy phone.
