Do you want to control your Samsung Galaxy Watch by using gestures? If that’s the case then you’re at the right spot. This post will walk you through on how to activate and enable universal gestures on Galaxy Watch 5/6/7 and also Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Meanwhile, in Samsung’s new beta version of Wear OS 4, the Galaxy Watch now has Universal Gestures. This feature lets you control the watch without touching the screen. Here’s an early look at how it works.
Overall, the tech industry is focusing more on accessibility. This means there are more features to help people with limited vision, hearing issues, or dexterity problems.
How Universal Gestures Works?
Universal Gestures is a feature on the Galaxy Watch that uses your muscle movements to scroll and select, just like using your finger. You don’t need to use your other hand at all.
Samsung designed Universal Gestures to turn on when you need it. You can use your Galaxy Watch normally until you activate the feature with a simple gesture.
Once it’s on, movements in the arm wearing the watch will make the Galaxy Watch do actions. We could navigate settings, make changes, and go back without using the other hand.
