What is Smart Pop-up View?
The pop-up view is a handy feature of premium Samsung Galaxy models that allows app notifications to be displayed on top of another active app just like Facebook’s Messenger app. A user can opt to allow an icon to be displayed on the screen so he or she can tap on it to expand a small window to see what the notification is about.

How to Enable Smart Pop-up on Samsung S8, S9, S10, Note 10, S20 & Others
Smart Pop-up View is not enabled by default in most instances, so you will have to enable it and set it up before starting to receive pop-up notifications for your favorite apps like Messages, WhatsApp, Viber, and others.

Step 1. Go to the Settings app.
Step 2. Scroll down and then tap Advanced features.
Step 3. Now, select a Smart pop-up view.
Step 4. Select which app you want to use with a Smart pop-up view feature by toggling it to right.
Step 5. Now, when you get a message in one of the apps that you enabled for pop-ups, you will see a small icon bubble or chat head appear at the top of the screen.
Step 6. If you tap on the chat head icon, you will be able to view the message and reply to the message.
You also have the option to adjust the Pop-Up transparency, minimize the notification back to the chat head, view the message in full screen, or close off the Pop-Up Window.
Step 7. When you’re done tap the X icon to close the chat head.
How to Disable Smart Pop-up View on S8, S9, S10, Note 9, S20 and Others
However, if you don’t like to use Smart Pop-up any more or it’s bothering you when you’re watching movies or browsing or reading important data then you may opt to disable it.
Step 1. Go to the Settings app.
Step 2. Scroll down and then tap Advanced features.
Step 3. Now, select Smart pop-up view.
Step 4. Now, find the app or apps that you have enabled smart pop-up view and then toggle it to the left to disable.
