The S24 lineup is filled with lots of AI stuffs and features, and interpreter mode is one of them. This posy will show you how to use interpreter mode on Samsung Galaxy S24/S24+/S24 Ultra based on One UI 6.1.
Interpreter Mode
Even though Live Translate is great, it only works for phone calls. Imagine you’re in another country, haggling with a shopkeeper, and you need translation help. Sure, you could use Google Translate, but the Galaxy S24 Ultra takes it up a notch with its special Interpreter Mode.
Interpreter mode is a cool feature on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. You can easily access it from the quick settings panel. This mode acts like a language translator in real life. So, if you need to chat with someone who speaks a different language, the phone can translate what they say into your language, and what you say into theirs – all in real time.
How to Customize and Use Interpreter Mode on Samsung Galaxy S24 Series
- Go to the Settings app.
- Tap Advanced features > Advanced intelligence.
- Finally, select Interpreter.
Simply tap on ‘Language packs for translation.’ From there, you can download the languages you want for translation.
How to Access and Use it?
After you’ve finished, just swipe down the notification tray to see the quick settings options. Find ‘Interpreter‘ and give it a tap.
Now, the Interpreter app will open. Just tap on any of the microphone icons to start the translation. That’s all! The Galaxy S24 Ultra will smoothly turn your words into the chosen language. It’ll also listen for the other person to talk and translate it back into your language automatically.
This was a quick guide on how to access and use the interpreter mode on Samsung Galaxy S24 models running One UI 6.0.
