How to Set WhatsApp About and Name Blank or Empty on Android & iOS

This process has been thoroughly tested and updated for the year 2021 (most recently tested on August 15, 2021), and it continues to perform flawlessly. Since 2017, this strategy has been shown to be effective. As the name implies, this approach employs characters or emojis that WhatsApp does not support to create a blank WhatsApp status.

Officially, setting a blank or empty WhatsApp Status (recently moved to ‘About’) is not permitted. Whenever you look at a friend’s WhatsApp profile, you’ll notice something in the About section.

So, follow the below steps to make an empty and blank WhatsApp About status:

Step 1. Copy the below-mentioned symbols:

Step 2. Now, head to the WhatsApp app. Tap the 3 dots menu and then tap Settings.

Step 3. Tap on your profile icon at the top left-hand corner.

Step 4. Tap About and then select the pencil or edit button next to the Currently set WhatsApp About.

Step 5. Now, paste the symbols and then remove the first symbol which is the arrow icon. Remember that you must remove the previous About.

Step 6. Once done, tap Save.

As you can see in the screenshot below that my WhatsApp About status is completely blank and empty.

How To Keep Empty Name On WhatsApp

Copy the below-mentioned symbols:

Next, head to the WhatsApp app. Tap the 3 dots menu and then tap Settings.

Select on your profile icon at the top left-hand corner side.

Tap Name and then remove the previously entered name. Now, paste the symbols and remove the first symbol which is the arrow icon.

Once finished, tap Save.

As you can see in the screenshot below that my WhatsApp name is completely blank.
