Galaxy Tabs have the option to show the date on the status bar but not Galaxy phones. However, you can display it by using the Good Lock app.

• Download the Good Lock app if not installed on your Galaxy phone.
• Once installed, open the app and locate the QuickStar module. Open it.
• Tap Clock Settings.
• Enable Show Date.
• Now, the date is displayed on your Galaxy phone status bar.
