Step 1. Right-click on your Windows 11 desktop and then click the Personalize option. Alternatively, press the Windows + I key simultaneously to open Settings and then select Personalize from the left-hand side pane.
Step 2. Once you’re at the Personalization windows, select Background.
Step 3. Make sure to choose the Slideshow option next to the Personalize your background drop-down menu.
Step 4. Now, click the Browse option select your desired desktop wallpaper next to the Choose a picture album for a slideshow.
Step 5. Find the folder that contains your desired wallpaper. Once selected, click Choose this folder.
Step 6. Next, select the time interval for when Windows 11 will automatically change images. For that, click the drop-down menu beside the Change picture every option. You can set the time interval from 1 minute to 1 day. In our case, we would like to set it to 30 minutes.
Step 7. Here, enable the option next to Shuffle the picture order.
Step 8. If your Windows device is powered by a battery, the slideshow will automatically pause to save battery life when it is powered by a battery. Turn on the toggle switch Let slideshow run even if I’m on battery power if you wish to keep the slideshow running on battery power as well.
Step 9. The image must then be scaled to fit your screen. To do so, select Choose a fit for your desktop image from the drop-down option. You may choose Fill, Fit, Stretch, Tile, Center, or Span depending on the size of the photos you want to run as a slideshow.
