How to Change the Icon Shapes on Samsung S9, S10, Note 9 & Note 10 Series
For those of you who like to frequently change the icon shapes on your Samsung Galaxy then You have to rather look into the developer options to find the setting to change icon shape. Anyway, here I tell you how you can change the icon shapes on Samsung Galaxy phones.
Step 1. In this first step, you need to unlock or enable the Developer option. Here’s how to enable it:
Go to Settings > About Phone > Software information > Build number and tap on it 7 times. You will get the message “you are now a developer” and developer options will get enabled.
Step 2. After enabling the Developer option then Go to Developer options:
Settings > Developer options
Step 3. Now scroll all the way down then tap on the Icon shape under the Theming Menu.
Step 4. Here, you’ll have five options: Default, Square, Teardrop, Squircle, and Rounded Rectangle.
Step 5. Now, choose the icon shape that you want to enable.
Step 6. Restart your phone. After a restart, you’ll notice changes.
In previous versions of Android, specifically Oreo and Pie, you could long-press your home screen, choose “Home settings,” select “Change icon shapes,” then choose between the circular default option, square, rounded square, squircle, or teardrop icon shapes. Super easy. This was first available on Pixels but expanded to other devices by Nokia, Essential, Moto and etc.
