You can now change the screenshots/screen recordings folder on your Samsung Galaxy phone with the latest OneUI 5.1 version and prevent screenshots and screen recordings from being stored. Thus you can now back up your camera photographs without having to worry about screenshots and recordings being saved up as well.

Here’s to change where screen recordings are saved on Samsung smartphones running One UI 5.1:

1. Open the Settings app on your Samsung device.

2. Tap Advanced features.

3. Select Screenshots and screen recorder.

4. Scroll down all the way and select Save screen recordings in and navigate into the DCIM folder on your device.

5. Tap the plus icon and create a new folder named “Screen Recordings“.

6. Select it and hit Done.
