• Open Command Prompt.
• Type  wmic and press enter.
• Now, type cpu get name, and press enter.
• The number after the “-” (hyphen) will be your laptop or PC’s generation. In my case, the number after the hyphen is 11. It means my laptop’s Intel generation is 11th.

• Press Windows + E to go to File Explorer.

• The number after the “-” (hyphen) will be your laptop or PC’s generation. In my case, the number after the hyphen is 11. It means my laptop’s Intel generation is 11th.

You can also check your Laptop’s Intel generation through BIOS settings. If you have a Dell laptop, then press F2 to go to BIOS Setup. If you have an HP laptop, then press F10 to go to BIOS.
