Create App Pair on Samsung Galaxy Phone (Android 14)

- Go to the Settings app.
- Tap Display.
- Edge panels.
- Enable Edge panels.
- Tap Panels and make sure to choose the Apps option.
1. Open the recent apps by swiping up if you’re using gestures. However, tap the recent button if you use the navigation buttons.
2. Tap on the app icon you would like to use as an App Pair. Then select Open in split screen view.
3. Choose your second app.
4. Once the apps are selected, tap the 3 dots.
5. Select the star icon. On the Add pair to pop-up windows, choose Home screen or Apps edge panel.
6. To use your App Pair, simply access your Edge Panel and tap on your App Pair icon.
Create App Pair on Samsung Galaxy Tablet (Android 12L)
Fortunately, Galaxy Tablets running One UI 4.1.1 based on Android 12L, you can create and use app pairs for Edge panels, Home screen, and Taskbar.
Note: You must enable Edge panels for Galaxy Tab as well. Once enabled, follow the below steps.
1. Open the recent apps by swiping up if you’re using gestures. However, tap the recent button if you use the navigation buttons.
2. Tap on the app icon you would like to use as an App Pair. Then select Open in split screen view.
3. Choose your seconds apps.
4. Once the apps are selected, tap the 3 dots.
5. Tap on the star icon.
6. You can add pair to Taskbar, Home screen, and Apps edge panel. Choose anyone you want.
7. We choose the Home screen.
