How to Enable Dark Mode in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based on Windows 10/11
The new Microsoft Edge or Chromium-based Edge has a built-in dark mode or dark theme but it isn’t enabled by default and you have to enable it through the settings.
When activating the new Microsoft Edge dark mode, the entire theme, menu, and other buttons will be modified to full dark. Switch to a theme in dark mode only applies to Edge. Websites and other portals that choose to follow your range of themes, but no website actually uses their content in dark mode.
Step 1. Launch the new Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) on your Windows 10/11 PC.
Step 2. Click the menu button (…) at the top right-hand corner and select Settings.
Step 3. Click Appearance from the left-hand side of the Settings page and select Dark to switch to a dark one.
