Method #1. View WiFi Password Using Keychain Access

Keychain Access is a macOS app that stores all your passwords to prevent you from recalling them. When you know your Mac administrator password, you can find or show your Wi-Fi password, which is saved in Keychain automatically.

Step 1. First, make sure you know your WiFi name. Click on the WiFi icon at the top then remember your WiFi network name.

Step 2. Then, open the Keychain app. You can launch it using the Spotlight Search option.

Step 3. In the Keychain Access window, click on the Passwords category in the left sidebar then type the name of the WiFi network you want the password for in the search bar, and at last double-click on the network to open it.

Step 4. Click on the checkbox next to the Show password text box.

Method #2. View or Find WiFi Password on Mac Using the Terminal

Step 1. First, open the Terminal app using Spotlight Search.

Step 2. Type the following command in Terminal:

Step 4. Once you have entered the command correctly, you will be asked to provide a User name and Password then clicks Allow.

Step 5. Your WiFi password will be shown just below the command you have previously entered.
