One UI 6.0 is the newest software from Samsung, and it’s built on top of Android 14. A test version of it is now available on the Galaxy S23 phones. This post will show you how to enable quick settings instant access on Samsung One UI 6.0 based on Android 14.
The notification area in One UI 6 hasn’t changed much. At the top, you’ll still see six quick settings buttons. But when you swipe down to see all the quick settings, it’s different. Now, there are two big buttons for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, like how stock Android did it in Android 12. Below that, you’ll find more round buttons for different settings. Further down, the brightness slider has shortcuts for the blue light filter and dark mode. Finally, at the bottom, there are buttons for smart view and device control.

Let me give you an overview of the exciting new things you’ll find in One UI 6.0, which is built on Android 14:
- New and wider system font
- Completely redesigned emoji
- New Quick Settings dropdown menu
- More Lockscreen Customization options
- New Camera app UI
- New “i” button for easier access to picture details
- New look for the Weather app

Talking about the new look for quick settings, in One UI 6, you can reach them even quicker. You just need to turn on Quick Settings instant access in the Quick Settings edit menu. Once it’s on, you can swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to go directly to your quick settings without going through the notification shade. It’s quite similar to what iOS has been doing with its Control Center for a while, and it works smoothly.
