How to Make Galaxy Buds Read Notifications?

If you’ve paired your Galaxy Buds to your phone and not received WhatsApp, Instagram, and other notifications, then you’ll need to enable the Read notifications aloud feature from the Galaxy Wearable app. So, in this wearable guide, we’ll show to make Galaxy Buds read notifications aloud.

In the meantime, your phone’s music and podcasts are piped via your wireless headphones, but they can also read out notifications. This function allows you to check for new notifications without having to touch your phone, which is useful whether you’re on the subway or running around the park.

How to Make Galaxy Buds Read Notifications Aloud

Here are the steps to enable the “Read notifications aloud” feature on your Galaxy Buds (Galaxy Buds2, Buds Pro, Buds+, and Buds Live) in order to make Samsung earbuds to read notifications:

Note: The features, menu options, and settings available will differ depending on the device and software version. Only when the earbuds are linked to the appropriate app and device can notifications be received and controlled. Remember that the screenshots are taken on the latest Galaxy Wearable app.

Step 1. Make sure to pair your Galaxy Buds to your phone.

Step 2. Once paired, open the Galaxy Wearable app.

Step 3. Tap Earbuds settings.

Step 4. Select Read notifications aloud.

Step 5. Tap the switch at the top to activate the Read notifications aloud feature.

Step 6. You should press the switch next to Read aloud while using the phone, regardless of whatever earbud model you’re using. Even if you’re on the phone, you’ll be able to hear notifications from your phone through your headphones.

Step 7. Depending on your preferences, you may also choose which applications will read alerts loudly on your earbuds. In most cases, we recommend letting the system choose which apps to handle.  You’ll be able to choose which apps may send alerts to your Galaxy Buds and which can’t. Simply drag the applications’ slider to the right if you want all apps to send you alerts. Otherwise, choose the app you’d like to block and slide its slider to the left.
