There are two methods to change the pictures name on Samsung Galaxy. You can either use the Gallery app or My Files app. However, the steps are the same. Meanwhile, for the purpose of this guide, we’ll use the Gallery app.

Step 1. Go to the Samsung Gallery app and then locate the photo that you want to rename and then open it.

Step 2. Now, tap the 3 dots more button at the bottom right-hand corner and select Details.

• Go to the Samsung Gallery app and then locate the video that you want to rename and then open it.
• Tap the 3 dots more button at the bottom right-hand corner and select Details.
• Tap the Edit button on the top right-hand corner.
• Remove the old video name and type a new name. Once finished, Tap Save.

• Tap on the Edit option next to the photo date and time.
