The first method to test the touchscreen on Samsung Galaxy is to use the Samsung Members app. Samsung Members is a useful and handy app that comes pre-installed on most of the newer Galaxy devices (S23, S22, S20, Note 8, Note 9, Note 10 &, etc). However, if you can’t find the app on your phone then you can download it from Google Play Store or Galaxy Store.

Step 1. Open the Samsung Members app.

Step 2. Go to the Support tab and tap Phone diagnostics.

Step 3. Here, you’ll see a bunch of available options related to your phone’s hardware such as Battery, Mic, Speaker, Wi-Fi, Camera, Fingerprints, Touch screen, and other things. To test your Galaxy’s touchscreen simply tap the Touch screen.

Step 5. Now, swipe across squares until they’ve all changed colors.

Step 6. When you’re done, you will instantly get the result. If the status is normal then your touchscreen is working properly.

Method 2. Test your Galaxy Phone Touch screen with a Secret Code (*#0*#)

The second method is by far the easiest method to test the touchscreen of your Samsung Galaxy phone. It’s pretty straightforward and relatively easy to use a secret code command. All you need to do is open the dial pad on your mobile phone, enter the secret code and you will be taken to a new page where you can test Speaker, Camera, Sensor, Touch, and some others. Here is how it’s done:

Step 1. Open the Phone app on your Samsung Galaxy phone and enter *#0*# using the Keypad.

The phone will go into its secret diagnostic mode immediately. Remember that the procedure is automated and there’s no need to tap the green call button to enter the order.
