Step 3. Tap the three lines at the top right-hand corner.
Step 4. Select Settings.
Step 5. Tap on Notifications.
Step 6. Tap on Direct Messages.
Step 7. Choose Off for both Message Requests and Messages. Or simply choose Off for Message Requests if you don’t want receive messages from strangers.
