Method #1: Upload Video Directly from iPhone to YouTube via Camera Roll or Photos App

In this method, you need to go to the Camera app or the Photos app, where the videos are saved and from there you can upload a video to YouTube from the iPhone easily. This method is best for iOS 11 or older.

Step 1. Go to the Camera Roll or Photos app then select the video you want to upload.

Step 2. Tap on the share icon on the bottom left-hand corner.

Step 3. Now, you will see many options to share your video like YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, etc. Tap on YouTube.

Step 4. If you are uploading a video for the first time then you will be asked to Sign-in to your Gmail account.

Step 5. Here, you will need to give a title and description to your video. There are other choices, such as choosing the quality of the video, standard definition or HD, choosing the category and selecting the right audience (Public, Unlisted, Private) but they are optional.

Step 6. Tap on Publish from the top of the menu.

Step 7. Now add a title and a description Your title should be concise, accurately reflect the essence of the video. Your title can have a maximum of 100 characters. You can also add a description. The description can have a maximum of 5,000 characters. When finished, tap Upload.

Your video will start uploading. Once it is done, the video will appear in your Videos list.
