Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 at their second Unpacked event this year. These new foldable phones come with One UI 6.1.1, which is based on Android 14. Additionally, Samsung has included several new Galaxy AI features in this update. Learn here how to use Portrait Studio on Z Flip6 and ZFold6 running One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14.
What is Portrait Studio?
The new One UI 6.1.1 update brings a feature called Portrait Studio. With this, users can create different portrait styles for their pictures, like 3D cartoon, watercolor, comics and sketches . Since Portrait Studio is cloud-based, you need an internet connection and a Samsung account to use it.
This feature allows you to make 3D avatars in formats like JPG, HEIC, BMP, and PNG. Just make sure the image you use doesn’t have a transparent background.
Images made with Portrait Studio are resized to up to 12MP and have a watermark in the bottom corner when saved.
Samsung also added a Sketch to Image feature. With this, you can finish your pictures by drawing a sketch. Just use your S-Pen or hand to draw, and Galaxy AI will do the rest. These and other new Galaxy AI features will also come to older supported Galaxy devices.
