How to Hide Notch on MacBook Air M2

For the purpose of this guide recommend you to use TopNotch for macOS. TopNotch is a free program that allows you to hide the notch on your Apple MacBook Air M2 chip. TopNotch was developed by the same group that created the macOS screen capture application Cleanshot, and it supports dynamic desktop wallpapers as well as multiple screens. With this program, you can also give your background rounded corners.

Alternatively, if you have a MacBook Pro, you can also use the Forehead app. The forehead is a clever program made by developer Jordi Bruin that changes your current background by adding a black bar to the top. Although Forehead is offered without charge, you can opt to purchase it from the downloads page to help the creator.

Unfortunately, Forehead does not work on M2 MacBook Air.
