In the meantime, some users choose to have their icons pinned to the taskbar rather than having them on their desktop for quicker access. Moreover, whether it’s Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, or Windows 11. One of the most often utilized features of the Windows operating system is the Recycle Bin. In reality, Windows OS displays the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop when you perform a clean install of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, or Windows 11.

Drag and drop is the simplest approach to pin a file to the taskbar. However, dragging and dropping the recycle bin into the File Explorer’s jumplist instead of as a separate icon will add it to the File Explorer’s jumplist. Because the recycle bin is a component of the File Explorer, this is the case. As a result, Windows adds it to the list of shortcuts.
You must manually create a recycle bin shortcut to the taskbar in order to see the recycle bin icon. The good news is that we can attain our goals in a variety of ways. Let me teach you how to pin the recycle bin to the taskbar in Windows 10 or Windows 11 in this simple guide.
