Do you want to get rid of the Camera app from your Galaxy phone lock screen? In this guide, you’re going to learn how to remove the Camera app from the Samsung lock screen on One UI 6.0 based on Android 14.
Samsung’s One UI has improved over time, and the most recent iteration now provides a bewildering array of personalization possibilities. The ability to establish shortcuts for apps on the lock screen is one of the most crucial features. This eliminates the need to repeatedly tap the screen and makes it simpler to access a certain program immediately.
One UI 3 has a tonne of options that let you personalize your phone as you like. Further customization options for themes, clock styles, and shortcuts that display on the lock screen and at the bottom of the screen are provided by One UI 4.
Whenever you see your lock screen, you’ll notice the shortcut apps. In most cases, one app is the Phone and the other is the Camera app. However, it’s not bad to have those shortcut apps right on your lock screen. For instance, you may need to call someone urgently or open the camera instantly to capture a photo. I personally don’t have an issue with it.
In the meantime, there are some people who usually don’t like the camera app right on the screen. Maybe to prevent accidental touches or any other reasons.
