Remember that not all Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets are equipped with screen mirroring features.

Furthermore, Older devices and operating systems older than Android 4.1.12 may not have the features of Screen Mirroring. In the menu function, some newer devices will have Smart View instead of Screen Mirroring. If you’re using the latest Samsung Galaxy devices and Windows 11 as well, then there’s no need to use third-party software and applications to mirror your screen from your Samsung to Windows 11 PC.

Note: Before you proceed, ensure that both devices (your Samsung Galaxy & Windows 11 PC) are connected to the same network.

Here are the steps to screen mirror Samsung Galaxy smartphones to Windows 11 PC or laptop:

Step 1. Install Wireless Display on Windows 11 If Not Installed

In the first steps, you’ll need to install Wireless Display. However, if it’s installed, then skip this step.

Press Windows key + I to open Settings.

Select System from the left-hand side pane and then click Optional features.

Now, click View features next to Add an optional feature.

Search for Wireless Display, check the box next to it, and click Next.

At last, click Install.

Wait until the installation process is completed.

Step 2. Turn on Projecting to This PC

Press Windows key + I to open Settings.

Select System > Projecting to this PC.

Click to Launch the Wireless Display app to project to this PC. Make sure Available everywhere is selected.

Step 3. Screen Mirror Samsung Phone to Windows 11 PC & Laptop

On your Galaxy phone, swipe down twice and then tap Smart View.

Select your PC or laptop name and then tap Start now.
