If you can’t watch YouTube videos in Picture-in-Picture mode then you can use a mobile browser like Google Chrome instead. Fortunately, Google Chrome supports PiP for all videos. You can play YouTube videos in PIP mode.

Step 1. Open Google Chrome and then go to youtube.com.

Step 2. Find any video that you want to watch.

Step 3. Play a video and tap the full-screen icon to go to the full-screen mode.

Step 4. When the video starts playing in the full-screen mode, tap the Home button or swipe up from the bottom.

Afterward, you begin to play the YouTube video outside your browser, much like the picture-in-image mode. You can watch videos while you open other apps, play games, or scroll through your Twitter timeline.

Once you’ve found out how to launch PiP in your favorite app, you’ll see a window at the bottom right of your screen with your video or other content. Tap the window to look at the controls.
