When you mirror a photo horizontally, it creates a reversed version of the original image. For instance, if someone in the original photo is facing to the right, after flipping the photo, they would appear to be facing to the left.

When you adjust the orientation of a photo, you’re essentially turning it by 90 degrees. If you accidentally captured a picture sideways, you can rotate it once to correct it. If the photo is upside down, you’ll need to rotate it twice.
