How to Turn Off Google Smart Lock on Android
Step 1. Go to the Settings app.
Step 2. Tap on Google.
Step 3. Tap on Manage your Google Account.
Step 4. Slide right and tap on the Security tab and now scroll down and tap on Password Manager.
Step 5. Tap on Setting icon.
Step 6. At last turn off Auto sign-in and Offer to save password option.
How to Turn Off Google Smart Lock on Chrome on Android
Step 1. Open the Google Chrome browser on your Android phone.
Step 2. Tap on the three aligned dots on top right-hand corner then select Settings.
Step 3. Tap on Passwords.
Step 4. Toggle the switch for Save Passwords option and Auto Sign-in to off.
Step 5. Tap on Passwords, if you want to delete the save Passwords. You can delete them one by one by tapping them with your finger and then selecting Delete.
How to Turn Off Google Smart Lock on Chrome on PC
Step 1. Launch the Chrome web browser then click on the three-dot menu at the top right-hand corner then select Settings.
Step 2. On the left-hand side, click on Autofill.
Step 3. Below Autofill there are three options: Passwords, Payment Methods and Addresses and More. Click on Passwords.
Step 4. Once in, toggle the switch for Offer to save passwords off. Meanwhile, also disable Auto Sign-in.
Step 5. To remove passwords already saved, head down to the subsection ‘Saved Passwords’ and follow each password to the very end. You’ll see three vertical dots. Click it. In the drop down menu that follows, click Remove.
